Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
There is only one way to the Father. There is only one way to be reconciled to God. We who are steeped in sin are not worthy to be children of God. Yet, God loved us so much that He was willing to give His only begotten Son to die for our sins. Our sins have forgiven by the blood of Jesus. They are forgiven and we who were estranged from God are now reconciled to God through the sacrifice of Jesus for us.
Thanks be to God that there is a way to the Father. Thanks be to God that Jesus was willing to suffer and die that we might be children of our heavenly Father.
