But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. As Christians; as followers of Jesus, our primary mission here on earth is to proclaim the Kingdom of God in Jesus the Christ. The devil doesn't care for that mission much. He will do anything and everything to thwart those attempts. He will attack individuals. He will attack congregations. He will attack entire communities and countries. But, the devil, with all of his minions, will not prevail. The Lord stands at our side and gives us strength so that through us the message might be fully proclaimed giving all people the opportunity to hear it and rejoice in the Lord our God to whom belongs all glory for ever and ever.
The devil may attack us through many means. But, no matter what the means, the devil will not prevail. Do not fear. The Lord will rescue his children from every evil attack and bring us safely to his heavenly kingdom.
