Not Afraid Of Herod

Luke 13:31-35 KJV; 2nd Sunday in Lent; Jesus was not afraid of Herod even though he knew that he would be going to Jerusalem to die. He understood it to be the Father's good will for you and me.

He Hears And Answers Prayers

Psalm 99:1-9 KJV; Transfiguration Sunday; Almighty God hears and answers our prayers according to His good will.

Help Us To Know Your Good Will

Isaiah 53:6-9 KJV: 17th Sunday after Pentecost. Your thoughts are not our thoughts; your ways are not our ways; help us to know your way, your will for us.

He Hears Our Prayers And Answers

Psalm 116:1-2; Romans 8:28; KJV; He hears our prayers and answers them according to His good will.

Faith Keeps Us Moving Forward

Hebrews 11:6-8 KJV; Fear would stop us in our tracks. But, faith will overcome all fears and keep us moving in the way the Lord would have us go.

Call Upon The Lord!

Reading from Jeremiah 33:1-3 KJV Call upon the Lord for He will answer your prayers according to His will for the good of all of his people.

Our Father's Good Will

Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. (Psalm 143:10 KJV)

The Lord's will is intended for the good of all. If only we could desire and do His will we would know much more peace. If only we would fully trust the Spirit of Christ to lead us.

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. May God fill us with the Holy Spirit that we might be led to do His good will!
