Grateful For His Mercy

"But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them." (Psalm 103:17-18 KJV)

If we are grateful for His mercy, we will listen to Him. We will strive to do His will. We all fall short; but, we try because "We love him, because he first loved us." (1 John 4:19)

May all of God's children honor Him by following in the way He has shown us through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Acting Humble

The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility. (Prov 15:33 KJV)

When we continually grovel and proclaim our own humility; when we "act" as though we are less than because we think that others will look at us and say "what a humble person he/she is;" when we use words that flatter others to exhibit our own humility, that is not humility. When we have to prove our humility so that we might receive the honor that we desire; that is not humility. That is pride.
