Chosen

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Once nothing; once nobody; but, now a member of a holy nation. How awesome is that! It is a good thing to remember that we have been chosen by Almighty God to be His people. We are not who we once were and because we are not all glory and honor and thanksgiving and praise should be given to God. For, through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, we have received this gift.

May the Lord bless all that we say and think and do that God receives the glory due His Holy Name.
