“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow...” 1 Peter 2:2 KJV
Babies cry when they are in distress. When they are hungry they are definitely in distress. They need their milk in order for them to be relieved of this hunger. They need milk in order to grow. Without this nutrition, illness may come and even death if the milk is withheld long enough.
Just like babies we need something to relieve the stress when we are distressed. We need spiritual milk to live life abundantly. That spiritual milk is found in the word of God. Immerse yourself in the word and live!
